I regularly volunteer my time helping out on various forums. A week ago Reddit user create a whoa is me pity party thread. They were complaining that Google suspended their Google Business Profile (GBP) and that support was not replying when they said they would. I was curious to know the category for the GBP. I wasn’t shocked when I learned it was a locksmith. A friend shared the OPs GBP Help Forum thread. I was able to see the uploaded documents. This is when the OPs story started to unravel. The OP claimed to have gone to the help forum in November, when they had posted in October. Their profile had a post or comment back in July. The post was deleted.
I noticed one image had been uploaded on August 12, 2024. The OP is all over the board and things were not adding up. The help thread has since been deleted and the Google drive folder. I decided to look up the domain in ViewDNS and discovered the domain was register on August 24, 2022. The LLC was registered on September 14, 2022. The domain register and SOS filing were never updated. I looked up the website on Wayback Machine and discovered that the website received a new design and that the phone number had been changed. Yesterday, December 19, 2024, I decided to call the phone number. As I expect the gentleman who answered the phone failed to identify the company and answered with, “locksmith.” I am convinced that this is a lead generation business. After our call, the OP went back to Reddit and attempted to defame me.
The OP created this Reddit thread: “Beware of this profile – Kersey Holiday.” They claim they are filing a complaint for harassment and for excessively calling businesses. I have called a few lead-generation GBPs which I knew were connected to the same person. He answered all of my calls. I don’t call them to sell them my services as I don’t work with spammers. The locksmith spammers know and hate me. I have had countless people tell me that I don’t charge enough for my services. The OP deleted their Reddit profile after they vented. The internet is for ever!!! Not that there is anything wrong with being Canadian, I am not Canadian. I am mocking anti-lockdown folks in Canada who self deputized themselves by reading the police oath. I will continue to live rent free in my trolls heads.
