Someone associated with JFTB Real Estate Phuket has been reporting fake reviews targeting their Google Business Profile (GBP) since September 2025. The spammers have been posting 3 and 4-star reviews. I saw the first Reddit post on November 6th, 2025. I mapped out the fake profiles and mapped out the businesses they reviewed. Google has removed the accounts that left the reviews.
These reviews appear to be random and not an official attack. Based on my experience, it seems that spammers are testing which reviews remain live and which get removed. I don’t know why they’re still posting reviews on the JFTB GBP. I have mapped out the latest batch of fake reviews, and it still appears that the spammers are still testing out their review process.
How long will it take Google to remove these reviews? When will Google go after these people, sue these spammers, or turn them over to the authorities? What more should be done?
